Mechanical Engineering Manager (Automation) Job ID - 031702

Summary: 

A leading company in the custom machining and automation sector is looking to add  leadership to their engineering team.  You will be working with a comprehensive team of engineering specialists and with a variety of technologies.  If you are looking for a spot to grow your career and lead some exciting automation/manufacturing projects this is the company to look at!

What you will be doing:  

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and technologists on project initiatives.
• Set targets and objectives with engineering team and execute.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with a third parties/vendors.
• Develop comprehensive project plans for external and internal use.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education in mechanical engineering, ideally with P. Eng designation in Ontario
• PMP designation or working towards is highly preferable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good client-facing, external, and internal communication skills.
• 5+ years experience using MS Office and MS Project
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
